A Guide to Sending in County Cup Results

Last Updated: 13 April 2016

During the match, the FA system will send an SMS Text Message to each of the mobile numbers registered with the League and also the secretaries of both clubs, reminding you to send in the result of the match.

If you receive two SMS messages you should reply to both and if you receive only one you should reply to that. The SMS must be submitted in one of the formats shown below ensuring that it is the HOME team score that is put first.

It should also be noted that the short codes i.e. UTDF may be different on the SMS you receive on behalf of the ECFA. When replying you should use the short code shown on the SMS you are replying to.

NOTE:- IN MATCHES WHERE BOTH TEAMS OR THE HOME TEAM ARE FROM OUR LEAGUE THE HOME TEAM ONLY SHOULD SEND IN THE RESULT. IF YOU ARE THE AWAY TEAM PLAYING AGAINST A TEAM FROM OUTSIDE OUR LEAGUE THEN YOU MUST SEND THE RESULT IN

The following are examples of how results should be sent in

If you are registered by your club to send in results for only one of your teams you will receive a text similar to:-

To report a 2-1 win to the home side after 90 minutes you would simply reply:

To report a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes and a 2-1 win after extra time to the home side you would simply reply:
