A Guide to Sending in League Cup Results

Last Updated: 13 April 2016

During the match, the FA system will send an SMS Text Message to each of the registered mobile numbers reminding you to send in the result of the match.

Despite the fact that this message will be sent to the registered mobile numbers of both teams, after the match, HOME CLUBS ONLY should reply to the message giving the score for the match in one of the formats shown below

The following are examples of how results should be sent in

If you are registered by your club to send in results for only one of your teams you will receive a text similar to:-

FA Full-Time Results: UTDF v ROVF, Sat 31 Aug 14:15. Reply with H-A score, followed by AET and PENS if required: e.g. 2-2 3-3 AET 3-1 PENS

To report a 2-1 win to the home side after 90 minutes you would simply reply:

2-1

To report a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes and a 2-1 win after extra time to the home side you would simply reply:

1-1 2-1 AET

To report a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes a 2-2 draw after extra time and 5-3 win on penalties to the home side you would simply reply:
