All Clubs should be aware of this event

Below are details of a WGS event being run by the ECFA.

Next season ALL CLUBS IN OUR LEAGUE will be using the WGS system for registering their players.

All clubs should now be aware that The FA, supported by Essex FA, have launched functionality recently that allows clubs to prepare for online player registrations via the Whole Game System. The Prokit UK Essex Olympian Football League, The County Motor Works Vauxhall Mid Essex Football League and Greene King Essex Veterans League have indicated their intention to use WGS for league registrations for season 2017/18, and the groundwork can be put in by clubs now to ease the process during the summer.

Clubs within the three leagues are invited to attend a workshop, hosted by Essex FA with the support of the leagues, at Essex Police Sports and Social Club, St Margaret’s Road, Chelmsford, CM2 6DA at 7:30pm on Tuesday 18th April 2017. The workshop will provide a brief overview of the process for attaching and detaching players to a club, and using the data cleansing tool to match registered players on Full-Time with the details already held on the Whole Game System, as well as the opportunity to ask any questions about the process.

Due to size – the venue is limited to 80 attendees – spaces will initially be restricted to one per club and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to attend, please could you email me by return with your name of the person attending and the club that the individual is connected to.

Depending on interest, a second workshop may be set-up in early May to cater for clubs unable to attend. Alternatively, you can contact me on the details below to arrange a visit to the County Office or discuss over the telephone. Essex FA also intend to host drop-in sessions during May and June to assist clubs in the process.
