A Guide to Sending League Match Results

Last Updated: 7 August 2017

During each match, the FA system will send an SMS Text Message to each of the registered mobile numbers reminding you to send in the result of the match.

Despite the fact that this message will be sent to the registered mobile number of both teams, after the match, HOME CLUBS ONLY should reply to the message giving the score for the match in the format home team first, away team second separated by a hyphen

For example:-

You will receive a text similar to:-

FA Full-Time Automated Results: CANR v LEIR, Sat 17 AUG 14:30. Reply with home and away scores exactly in format: H-A e.g. 3-2

To report a 2-1 win to the home side you would simply reply:

2-1

IMPORTANT NOTE:- You must leave no gap between the numbers and the hyphen

If you are registered to send in the results for more than one team you will receive a text similar to:-

FA Full-Time Automated Results: CANR v LEIR, Sat 17 AUG 14:30. Reply with home and away scores exactly in format: H-A CANR e.g. 3-2 CANR

To report a 2-1 win to the home side you would simply reply:

2-1 CANR

IMPORTANT NOTE:- You must leave no gap between the numbers and the hyphen but a gap between the score and the suffix

You must not add any additional information other than that requested.

If the match is postponed, as well as making the required telephone calls, the home club can report by sending P-P and in the case of abandoned matches A-A

FULL-TIME will only accept results from registered phones so if you need to change the registered telephone number for a particular match you must advise the undersigned at least 48 hours prior to the match.

ALL RESULTS MUST BE SENT IN BY THE TIMES SHOWN UNDER RULE 11(a).

The system keeps a log of the times results are sent in. If you have any queries or questions please contact Peter Godfrey or by phone on 01206 385 872 or 07880 317 926
