Important Information from our ECFA Rep.

Below is some important information received from Dave Emerton our Leagues ECFA Representative

It is the Clubs responsibility to inform the County Association of matches that are postponed (or not completed) if they have players under, or due to be under, a suspension that includes the postponed match. Matches have to be completed for them to count towards suspensions. Failure to do so may result in action taken against the player and the Club. As with all disciplinary matters, if in doubt ASK the County Association.

Club secretaries are reminded to regularly access their WGS dashboard to ensure any disciplinary matters are dealt with in a timely manner.

A new GROUNDS KEEPING COMMUNITY has been launched by the Football Foundation, featuring support tools to help ground staff meet their grass pitch improvement targets.

A website has been developed at THEFA.HIVELEARNING.COM in partnership with The FA and the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG) which supports volunteers and qualified groundskeepers who maintain pitches.

Videos and news articles are being posted throughout the season related to pitch improvement, and local content can also be shared to promote the work which is currently being delivered. A number of groundskeepers and FA Regional Pitch Advisors already interact with the website.
