The road to Bishops Stortford for the final of the Essex Olympian League Reserve League Cup in May 2020 has begun with the draw for the First Round being done last night ahead of the ties being played in September.
Corinthians Reserves, Rochford Town Reserves and Toby Reserves have all recieved byes into Round Two whilst Division 3 side and reigning Reserve Cup champions Basildon Town Reserves set to begin their challenge of defending the cup with a home tie against Ongar Town Reserves.
Notable ties in the first round draw include the highest placed EOFL Reserve team in the form of Rayleigh Town Reserves from Division 1 who will be hosting Roydon Reserves of Division 5 and last season’s Division 3 champions Old Southendian Reserves will be playing host to Division 4 side Canning Town Reserves.
Division 3 side Leigh Town Reserves start their first ever campaign with a trip to Division 4 side AS Rawreth Reserves whilst one of the teams widely tipped to have a good season in the EOFL this season, Buckhurst Hill Reserves, they begin their campaign with a trip to Runwell Sports Reserves.
