The following has been sent to all EOFL Club Secretaries
You will all be aware that Greater London, and parts of Essex and Hertfordshire have been placed in Tier 3.
After seeking guidance from the ECFA, below you will find a summary of how the latest Government decision affects our league.
Should your club decide it cannot comply with the three conditions shown on the attached, you must let the League Fixtures Secretary know by noon on Thursday 17 December and your match will be postponed.
No revised matches will be arranged.
Whilst we are working in accordance with the guidance we have received from the ECFA, we are aware that they are holding a Board meeting this evening and should we be advised that we are to take additional or different action, we will advise you as soon as we know.
Attached you will find a list of matches that the league has decided to postpone due to the locations of the teams involved.
Of paramount importance in taking the decisions we have is the wellbeing of all involved with the league as well as their families over the Christmas period.
What happens after Christmas is dependant on what decisions the Government makes over the next 10 days but in the meantime fixtures for 02 and 09 January will be amended so that that wherever possible teams from the same areas will play each other.
We wish you a Happy, and above all, Safe Christmas.
