Basildon Town had to come from a goal down at Great Baddow before they could secure all the three points. Jack Main and Marcus Bowyers both scored in the second half which means Basildon Town now have a three point lead on the top of Division One. Great Baddow sit third but there is a seven point gap between them and second placed Catholic United, who also failed to pick up points on Saturday. The promotion chasing Southend-based team were gunned down by Snaresbrook whose goals were both scored by Harry Brown. Newham United remain bottom of the table but picked up a very welcome three points after they beat fellow relegation candidates London APSA 3-2. A Tommie Turner brace was added to by an Ade Cole goal. London APSA replied via Philip Brown and an own goal. Tom Watling and Craig Skinner were the Galleywood scorers in a 2-1 home win over Shenfield AFC. Will Marlowe notched the Shenfield goal. Runwell Sports recorded a 3-1 win over Old Chelmsfordians with Connor Barmby, Ben Crouch and Carey Wallace supplying the goals while Ryan Baxter grabbed the Old Chelmsfordians consolation. Newbury Forest meanwhile recorded the biggest win in Division One with a 6-2 victory over Old Southendian. Bobby Wise notched a hat-trick with Jason Reynolds-Blanche, Matt Connolly and Alex Nicol also chipping in. Jay Smith and Jared Brand scored the Old Southendian replies.
