In accordance with what was agreed at the A.G.M. and FA guidelines published on 18 July 2020 in which we were requested to give clubs at least four weeks notice of the first lot of fixtures, the fixtures for September are now available on the website and will have been sent out to your club via Full Time.
Fixtures have been arranged based on information you have supplied, and if you have not told the League Fixtures Secretary when your facilities are available, you have been given only away fixtures during September. When you let him have your availability, he will try and arrange some home fixtures for you.
Should there be any changes to the availability of your facilities please let the League Fixtures Secretary know IMMEDIATELY so that he can try and arrange alternative fixtures.
Cup ties are being held on the first two Saturdays of September and don’t forget that if the scores are level after the end of normal time, there is no extra time and the match is to be decided on penalties.
YOU ARE REMINDED THAT EVERY CLUB MUST NOMINATE A PERSON AS THEIR COVID-19 OFFICER AND MUST HAVE A RISK ASSESSMENT IN PLACE BEFORE THEY CAN START PLAYING FOOTBALL. IT WOULD BE ADVANTAGIOUS IF CLUBS PRIVIDED COPIES OF THEIR RISK ASSESSMENT TO THE OPPOSITION AND MATCH OFFICIALS PRIOR TO THE MATCH. IF THERE ARE ANY PERCEIVED PROBLEMS THESE CAN THEN BE RAISED WITH THE COUNTY F.A.
At the moment we do not have any information regarding the conclusion of last seasons ART or County Cups, or the dates of this seasons County Cup ties and some leagues at a higher level, so there may be amendments to our fixtures when these competitions decide what they are doing.
Obviously the situation might change but the league are in a position to act quickly based on the latest FA, ECFA or Government guidelines.
We wish you all a very good season and hope that we are able to see it through to its conclusion.
