The ECFA have said that they will be issuing guidance regarding ULEZ but have not said when this guidance will be available.
The guidance below is based on information currently available online.
From 25 October 2021 the ULEZ (Ultra-Low Emission Zone) in London will expand to cover the area within the North Circular (A406) to the South Circular (A205). The ULEZ will not apply to those driving on the circular roads but these roads serve as helpful border lines.
Canning Town, Canning Town Reserves, Snaresbrook and Snaresbrook Reserves play within this area, so a large number of our teams will be affected, and when playing in County Cups you may be affected if you have to travel into this area.
If your car doesn’t meet the ULEZ’s strict emission standards, you will be expected to pay £12.50 every day that you drive within the ULEZ. This also applies if you live within the ULEZ area and use your vehicle.
Not all vehicles will be subject to this charge so you need to check at (a link to the ULEZ Checker will go here) to see if your vehicle is exempt. If your vehicle doesn’t meet the standard, you will be required to pay the daily ULEZ charge to drive within the zone.
The ULEZ daily charge operates 24hrs a day, seven days a week and all year round.
